Georgina VerBaan

Georgina Carolina Verbaan (born October 9, 1979 in The Hague) is a Dutch actress and singer. After joining the musical Harlekijn in 1988, Verbaan decided to become an actress. In 1991 she applied for a four year study at the theater school called Rabarber. Verbaan became a national celebrity in 1997 at more... age of 16 years, when she got the role of "Hedwig Harmsen" in Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden. She was one of the most popular stars of the soap opera in her time. For her portrayal, she was nominated at the Dutch Academy Awards in 1998 for Best Actress in a Soap. less
